Our Story

Rooted in 1902. Ranching with Grit & Grace.

Our ranch has been part of this land since 1902. For six generations, we’ve raised cattle with care, faith, and a whole lot of hard work. Today, we’re proud to bring you meat that reflects that legacy: honest, flavorful, and raised the right way.

It began in 1902 when our great-great-grandfather Aurelius Green Marcum left Kentucky and settled in the Oklahoma Territory. He lived in a dugout on 160 acres of raw prairie, raising cattle and wheat to build a life from scratch.

His son, Andrew, weathered the Dust Bowl and the Great Depression—expanding the ranch when many couldn’t, and instilling the value of doing things right.

Later, Frank and Avis Marcum focused on improving genetics and land management, building a strong herd and an even stronger foundation for the next generation.

What We Raise

Grain-Finished Beef
Finished to perfection for marbling, tenderness, and deep flavor.

Grass-Finished Beef Shares (Seasonal)
Offered in the fall after a full summer of grazing lush pasture. Limited quantity, once a year.

Pasture-Raised Pork
Raised outdoors with room to root and roam. Juicy and full of real, moist flavor.

The Ranch Today

We’re the 5th and 6th generations of Marcums working this land. You’ll find us out checking cattle, riding on horseback through pastures, or cooking supper with our own beef.
