To provide the best ranch-to-table experience, each cut is vacuum-sealed and placed in a high-chill freezer to lock in peak freshness. Your premium Oklahoma beef is then hand-packed in an insulated box with dry ice to keep it frozen until it reaches you. We utilize 2-day shipping to ensure your American-raised meat arrives in perfect condition, making it the easiest way to buy beef online directly from the ranch.

Order Adjustments

Frequently Asked Questions

When will my order be delivered?

To ensure your premium beef arrives in peak condition, we ship orders twice a month via UPS 2-Day delivery. This allows us to carefully pack each box at the ranch and get it from our Oklahoma pastures to your porch as quickly as possible. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order leaves our freezer.

What should I expect when my package arrives?

Your order is packed in high-quality insulation with dry ice to maintain a deep freeze during transit. Please unpack and transfer your ranch-raised meat to the freezer promptly. If some cuts have a slight "give" or are partially thawed but still refrigerator-cold, they are perfectly safe to eat or refreeze without any loss in quality.

Note: Please handle any remaining dry ice carefully (use gloves) and let it evaporate in a well-ventilated area.

Where does Marcum Farms ship and offer local pickup?

We ship our premium, American-raised meats directly to porches across the lower 48 states via UPS 2-Day.

For our local customers, we offer a free pickup option at the ranch in Alva, Oklahoma, twice a month (choose "Alva pick-up" when you order). You can also find our ground beef bundles year-round at Venture Foods in Alva.

For our neighbors in the McKinney, Texas area, we occasionally offer local pickup for pre-orders. Keep an eye on our social media or newsletter for those specific dates!

What is the difference between your grain-finished and grass-finished beef?

At Marcum Farms, we specialize in 120-day grain-finished beef, ensuring superior marbling and consistent flavor year-round. During the fall, we also offer a limited run of seasonal grass-finished beef specifically for our bulk beef shares. Both options are raised on our family land with the same heritage care.

Do you offer Bulk Beef Shares (Quarter, Half, or Whole Beef)?

Yes! Buying a quarter, half, or whole beef share is the best way to stock your freezer with ranch direct meat. Our grain-finished shares are available throughout the year, while our grass-finished beef shares are available by pre-order every fall.

This is the most cost-effective way to bring the Marcum Farms way of life to your family table.

Is your beef "Dry-Aged"?

To ensure the best eating experience, our ranch-raised beef is aged for 14-21 days. This traditional aging process breaks down enzymes to create the most tender and flavorful American-raised steaks you can buy online.

Where is your beef processed?

Every animal is raised on our family ranch in Alva, Oklahoma. We partner with local, USDA-inspected processors to ensure our small-batch beef is handled with care. This allows us to maintain total quality control from our Oklahoma pastures to your porch.

Is your meat USDA inspected and vacuum-sealed?

Every cut of Marcum Farms Meat is processed at a USDA-inspected facility and vacuum-sealed for maximum freshness. This "flash-frozen" process locks in the flavor and allows your beef to stay fresh in the freezer for up to 12 months.

Do you offer catering for events in North Texas?

Yes! Through Marcum Farms Catering, we bring our ranch-direct meats to events throughout McKinney, Frisco, and the North Texas area. Whether it’s a wedding or a corporate event, we serve the same high-quality Oklahoma beef that you find in our online shop.
